BMW Leather

Hello,

Does anyone have any resources for getting a few yards of the same leather BMW uses? Wanting to complete my trunk stereo setup and have it match the interior.

Any automotive upholstery shop should be able to match the leather and order you as much as you need. Their books cover all cars, years, grain, color, etc.

Normally, it is sold by the square inch - waaayyyy back in the early 80's when I worked for a custom shop - leather was 0.25 cents/sq inch (shop price) 30 years later, one can only guess the cost now...

Since you are talking 'yards' you better have a first born child that you want to trade

Another idea is to use the matching vinyl that BMW uses instead of leather, it will be cheaper & you can find it at the same place. After all, most leather seats are not all leather anyway - the seating surfaces are real leather, sides, backs are of a matching vinyl.
