That is such a sweet ride. Nice combo, I love it. Specially red interior. I think that is the best. I am glad there is no big injury on your first accident. I broke 3 of my ribs on my first accident. Good luck!

ED was AWESOME!!! I definately suggest doing it! Yeah waiting 2 months for it to get back to the states sucked but hey the trip was great and I got to drive my car on the autobauhn and other european roads. Pretty much outside of France most of the roads have speed limits but they are so high it really doesn't matter. France on the other hand has speed cameras.

actually no. My in-laws were with me and they had a navigation in their car so I didn't spend the $75 or whatever it was to get it in mine in Europe too. It's kind of nice having tour guides that know where to go. In-laws are French and know this area well.

Thanks. I would think the Nav would get you there no problem. There are POI on the Nav now. Their portable Nav unit was pretty cheap. Although we never put them together I would think the BMW one would be MUCH better.

It's a Smart. Expect to see them popping up in the US as a 2008 model. They are kind of cute/cool. Great gas mileage and can park sideways like that. Made my Mercedes.

I went there 2 weeks ago with my ED and I used (Heidi) thats what i named my navigation on my E93 She took me right into Fussen which is where the castles are.. I think this was the highlight of the trip even after Prague and Zurich. I mean mountain side driving, rivers, lakes.. I hope you're getting a convertible as you need all that viewing angle..plus a tan is always a nice extra.
