Strange problem with my car
So today when I was doing a WOT pull, the check engine light came on and the car started to shake and vibrate. It would only shake when I push the throttle and when I let go, there wouldn't be any. I wasn't in limp mode or anything, and there was nothing on my iDrive that said there was something wrong, it just said "All Systems Okay." Once I turned off my car, it was fine again, but then another WOT pull and the same thing happened. I got home, tried reading the codes, but deleted them on accident. I went for a quick test drive and there was nothing wrong, I'm still worried it might happen again though, anyone know what might be wrong?

I'm running Procede V5, downpipes, intakes and FMIC. How do I fix misfires? New spark plugs?

Just had this happened too. It was a misfire, cylinder 6. Not sure why though, changed plugs about 1k miles ago. Could be a coil. But I'm wonder if it has something to do with Cobb and the weather getting cold.

So I tried reading the code on my Procede and the numbers "12045" popped up on my program. That was the only number I saw (not sure if there's more than one code), but it looks like it's the radiator blind input signal (GLF) that's wrong with my car. If there was more than one code, would they all show up at once? Any advice on how I should fix this? I deleted it earlier today and it still pops up after driving around for a bit.

Alright so I scanned my car again after driving around and 2 more codes popped up which is 10704 (misfire in cylinder 4), 12045, and also 10740/10741. I'm not sure if I should just switch the plug out myself or just go to the dealership to see if they can clear the other codes. Do you guys think it'd be okay if I just left my procede in on map 0 while it's getting serviced? I have cat less dp so the cel will show even after the problem gets fixed if I take it out. I'm also out of warranty though besides the 120k fuel pump warranty. Any advice would be appreciated

im in the same exact boat im pretty sure its misfires because it happened after i updated the new v5 11-1 maps more power sent me into misfire haven. waiting on new plugs.... if plugs go bad what are chances of coils going out as well?
and the symptoms mine had were intermiten after restart alls fine then if you go WOT 6/10 times it would kickout give ses light, or half engine, and then sound like its chocking trying to get fuel. as soon as restart though everything was like nothing happened |

I'm having the same problem, after some agreesive driving, my SES light turns on but no limp mode, when I accelerate the car it shakes & is severely under powered. It's happened to me a couple times, after I turn off/on it runs fine. I started thinking its the HPFP but thats just me guessing.
I'm running JB4, exahust, DP, intake, intercooler, meth I haven't read the codes at this time

Are you running Rev2 hardware??? I had similar issues with the 7-29 maps running Rev2 hardware. I have relatively new plugs, new HPFP, recalled Injectors. When I went back to the May Maps (5-x) I no longer had the mis-fire issues. I also upgraded to rev 2.5 hardware on the newest aggressive maps for the last 300 miles and everything is A-OK. Our cars have finicky fuel systems. So the same hardware on one car will be ok, but cause mis-fires on another car.

I'm on rev 2.5 running stage 3, I guess I should have ran stage 2 instead since I haven't upgraded my exhaust or diverter valves yet. Any idea where to get spark plugs for a good price or should I just take it into the dealership? Thanks for the responses!

Sounds like what I'm experiencing, did you try to read the codes? I have a feeling you migh need a new spark plug like me
