Launch RPM and shift point ?'s at the strip

I just got a used 08 335i coupe last week and have a few questions. The car is all stock (JB4 coming soon) and I'm just curious what the best launch RPM is on the stock runflats? I traded in my 2008 z06 last year that I had about 150 passes on and launched that at about 3800 rpms on the stock tires. I go to MIR in Maryland which has great traction so keep that in mind.
What are the best shift points at the 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 shifts. My z06 I shifted right at redline every gear but don't know if shifting at redline on every shift is best with this car.
Will those shift points change when I get the JB4 because looking at the dyno chart from a car with the JB4 on it, it seems like the power comes on much sooner.
Thanks in advance for the advice and I'm hoping to get in touch with blackbenzz to see if there are any rentals at MIR soon. I went to a couple he hosted with my z06 and had a blast seeing and racing with some nice cars.
Here's a thread started by Sniz from a rental in March 2009 that I was at.

I had the black Z06 (that didn't have R compounds as a caption under one of the photos says. That was the guy with the blue z). I can't wait to go again...

2nd gear launch @ 2200-2400 RPM
2-3 shift at 6500
3-4 shift at 6000

I get the most consistant runs with those on street tires. Since you have RFT's, and no LSD, you will def. want to launch in 2nd. Some people swear by 1st gear launches, however, after seeing hunders of logs/slips, a 2nd gear lunch in the 1/4 is slightly faster.

Sorry, I should have said mine is a 6spd manual. I assume your speaking of an automatic. Are the shift points still the same for an auto and stick? I haven't checked to see if the gearing is the same between the 2. Thanks for the response though.
