topgear USA coming back soon?

I know I actually asked this awhile back but cannot find the thread to see if someone answered me. Anyone know if this show is returning? One of the few sunday shows I actually enjoyed.

No worries. You can also dowload episodes of Top Gear UK, USA, Australia (since cancelled) and Fifth Gear (via bit torrent) through finalgear. do you live in or near socal? They often have open registration to be in the studio audience. It's taped at the old El Toro Marine Corp Base.

Top Gear Season 18 Starts January 2012

Top Gear announced it will return on BBC2 in January 2012 for Season 18 of their popular automotive tv show. But before the new season kicks off the last week of 2011 the Top Gear Christmas Special airs. This years Special saw the Top Gear trio travel through India. The Top Gear Christmas Special airs December 25th 2011 on BBC2. Top Gear Season 18 kicks off January 2011 and airs every Sunday at BBC2 8PM GMT.

Tanner Foust comes off as cheesy (like the rest of them) but is one hell of a drifter - likely the best outside of Japan (where he'd be in the top 10 for sure).

All footage except for a few shots is on the very first run - just check out the lack of tire markings on the road:
