ADJUSTING BOG AND LAG FIX SETTING'S ON Jb4??
Hey guys I have the new 9/17 interface with the lag fix set at 80 and the bog fix set at 100.
I wanted to know do I have to hit the save bottton on the adjuster setting to activate this option ,or is it already set from burger tuning ? I also wanted to know if anyone has messed with the lag fix higher then 80% to hold more boost in between shifts? |

All the tunes (Cobb and GIAC as well) bog. Anyway, leave the settings at default 100 bogfix, 80 lagfix. for 99.9% of cars on the road it is optimal.

I heard that if you increase the lagfix it holds more boost in between shifts better?? Have you ever messed with that?

Yes many have messed with it but it's usually a good idea to stick with what Terry has set since for most people that's what is going to work best, but if you really want to adjust things then you need to give us some info first.
Are you auto or MT? What are your mods other than the JB4? If your auto bogfix is not going to make much of a difference since it's really designed for the bog that occurs during shifts on an MT. As for lagfix that's really a preference. For most people setting it at 80 is good enough because it gives enough of a throttle response and decrease in lag without making the car feel too jumpy. For example I have my lagfix set at 100 but I like the way it drives set at 100 more then 80 but then again until Terry adjusted the FFMax to be based on an algorithm that adjusts continuously I always had it set at 100 too because I like the pedal response. So don't go based on my preferences. Change the settings if you want and see how the car feels and then do a few logs to make sure it's all ok. |

What map are you running? Adjust till you get the car the way you want it to work and feel but themyst is right, for most (99.9%) of people those settings are optimal. Sometimes going higher on a value may make the car feel faster, more responsive, etc. but may not be as quick on the streets. In general though what Jeff said is true. What map are you running? Set the lagfix to 100 and see if you like it. Most importantly always do logs to make sure the car is running well. |

Well with your mods map 2 sounds right. Then just set lagfix and bogfix to 100 and make sure FPmapping is set correctly as well (should be 90). Do some logs and see how they look and see what FFMax is adjusting to.
