Underwater Graphics

Im looking to change the wood interior of my e90 and today while i was getting my tint appointment setup i saw a display for something called water transfer printing. I wasn't exactly sure as to what the process was but the guy at the front desk described to me that its similar to a paint on the trim piece. It looked very professional and would cost around $500. It obviously isn't reversible but i don't care about that. I was wondering if you guys have ever heard of anything like that and here's the website. I would want it to be don't in carbon fiber. And they had a couple F150s there that it had been done to and it looked awesome.
