FS: New Keyfod from my 2009 335i

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I got this and never got it programmed for my car. When I bought the car they only had 1 fob and they sent me a new one when I never used.

Have no clue what these sell for. I know you have to post a price so $200 OBO and OBO is loosely used.

Edit: Should be keyfob of course but it won't let me edit the header.

Your keyfob is married to your car, you cannot use it on another one. The VIN is "burned" into the chip!

It is not married to anything. Its brand new and was never programmed. No different that going to the dealer for a new one. They mailed it to me as I bought the car out of state.

It may be brand new BUT it has your car's VIN permanently stored inside it. It cannot be programmed for a different VIN.

I'm 99% certain it doesn't, they gave me a check to have it programmed locally, not sure why they would spend any time storing anything on it. It came direct with an invoice with no mention of this.

I guess I could be wrong too, I'm just reverberating what my SA told me when I ordered my replacement key.
