Paint Shop Recommendations for Touch Ups
I officially hate everyone else now, haha, well aside from our forum members of course
Anyone can recommend a few paint shop / detailers that can touch up chips and scratches. Definitely need to get it fixed, my paint job was almost like new. I was at bunnings getting some supplier, went in for 20mins and came out to find some one chipped my paint on 2 spots at some very weird angles too, definitely not from a door, unless it's a super tall truck. This brings the hate count to 3 for 2011. Damn Sorry no pics, too sad to take photos of it. |

This new one is quite big, you can definitely tell it's not a rock, or a door for that matter. The only thing I can this off is probably an ASTEROID! Haha.. time for me to stop drinking..

Yeah, I need to shop around. I am hoping to get 3 marks fixed for under $300, I figured I can live with $300 a year expense to keep the car pristine. But it's a tough balance between finding a genuinely good deal and a rough job that might end up doing more damage.
Any idea what the going rate is for spot touch ups? |

That's probably true. But at least you'll know they can do the job and do it properly.
I've had a repair done by some other place for my old car before.. and it turns out the idiots used random screws when they were reinstalling the panels. Had random screws from camry etc and various small plugs missing. Panel one actually went through and fixed their stuff ups. But its always good to have a list of repairers who know how to fix a bmw properly for those small touchups. Who is NCC? any others which you guys trust? |
