Pass...

non-mandrel bends, and a not very attractive outlets, etc.

BTW, I do not see how you lost low end torque on a turbo application. However, dual 2.5 inch is more than enough at this time. Unless this is the ONE turbo engine which does not like and open exhaust something was measured incorrectly. And please do not state that you need back pressure; the turbine is the back pressure and plenty of it considering the size of the housing.

Remember, the turbine section of a turbo works on pressure differential. The greater the difference the quicker it will spool. The less pressure on one side will equate to less pressure on the other to reach the desired boost. Lowering the pressure on the exhaust ports will increase torque.

I have yet to see a turbo application not gain power by going to an open exhaust or larger system unless something else was thrown out of wack like the boost control or fueling. If that occurred, why not tune for the changes?

you are correct 2.5 is plenty that is the reason we did not go with 3" loss of Hp and Tq engine ran 2 lean ( more exhaust out mean more exhaust in not enough fuel means lean) The tips are interchangeable it all about preference I guess we have been testing exhausts on this car for about 2 months this by far was the best. and this system is our testing system. the one we put on the car permently will have each part of the few bends individualy cut and welded, want make much of a difference
