Intercooler and/or meth
I know meth provides largest bolton gains after tune but how important is having an aftermarket intercooler if always running meth...how much are we really talking if I'm not planning on road coarse racing at all just street fun here and there

Meth is going to give you much more performance gains as you have already stated. If you are going for power, then go with Meth first. Replacing the intercooler will benefit your turbos as an upgraded IC will flow better and with less pressure drop across the core. I doubt it will offer any additional cooling when meth in flowing though. Ultimately its your choice in the end, but meth is a much better bang for the buck.

I've read as little as 10-15HP gain with an intercooler. For street, you'd be hard-pressed to heat soak the intake/intercooler with meth and not go to jail. The intercooler will benefit greatest with downpipes and turbo upgrades to allow the significantly higher boost pressures and air mass to flow with less restriction.
For the street, just to meth and save up for an intercooler in the future. For race/track use, get the IC first, then meth.
