Took 335i on trip up the I5
Man this is a nice sedan. I rode in comfort while my wife drove the car up to Los banos to pick up a new Porsche 997GT3- we were running 95 -100 and just as stable as anything-Going through a desert canyon on the way back and my wife driving the porsche I pushed the 335 in the twisties and it was as planted as my 996 GT3 was
this is one NICE grocery getter!! a couple of WRX's came up and tried messing around and my wife just left them. That kind of suprised me. maybe a torque difference?

We actually went over to casa de fruitas to pick it up not Los Banos.
One pic of the Gt3 is in my sig I will get some more pics later in this thread. Those seats in the 335i are better than any seat I have sat in. bar none as far as comfort- I love that 4.8is since there is no 07 4.8is just a 4.8i I am sticking with this one. I cant get the X5 seats to match the position of the 335 seats that are only 8way sport seats and the X5 are 20 ways. I cant get the lumbar to be as good as the 335.

I have a place in Mammoth but I am not there all the time- I am an engineer and probably dont make any more than you guys I did however make some real estate purchases at the bottom of the market now those purchases are worth alot more and when mortgage rates hit 4% I took out some equity bought my first Porsche and sold that for what I paid for it -same for the 996 GT3-this is the first one I bought new with alot less options than my 996 so it was only 20K out of pocket for the 997.

Lending tree huh? I used you guys once. then when some guy in Chase found me in Mammoth he kinda manages our mortgages He was the one that got 4% told me when the rates changed and redid my mortgages. I would NEVER have been able to do it with out him and some dead blind luck in buying realestate. Its not Like I knew what I was doing.

final drive ratio and torque diff. Everytime they try to race me I never even bother. not worth the cops impounding me over a race with a rice rocket (fyi, I'm an ex-ricer too ).
Beautiful cars man. and I hope someday i have a wife like yours that appreciates cars as much as we do - and knows how to drive it too!!!! You are a lucky man.....

Funny this thread started about the 335 but is ending to be about the GT3.
I absolutely LOVE the GT3. I can't wait to be able to get one. Congrats.

paulgt3, were you the one that was hauling a$$ heading south on the I5 late evening Sunday?
I was passed by a silver Porsche, he was coming up on me so fast by the time I tried to get out of his way, he was trying to pass me on the right. |
