Performance Chip?? e92 335i

Has anyone used the GForce Performance chip?? They claim that you gain 7mpg and 60hp. Just wondering if these are valid gains. Thanks!

The MPG claim is bogus, you can make that number appear to whatever you'd like. Drive with a heavy foot in the city with a stock car.....then pop a tune on and drive gingerly on the freeway with a tune.....boom huge MPG increase. I wouldn't doubt they got 60 horsepower, a simple boost based tune can acheive that.

Your best bet is to go with a known tune which has made an impact on this community vs. possibly wasting money or damaging your motor on something that isn't tried and true.

*FYI, I've seen a slight highway MPG inclrease when running a tuned car vs. stock (1 or 2 mpg). If you can control your throttle and stay out of boost, your economy will go out.

Sounds like they are doing something like the JB2. You won't see 60hp and if you drive your car using that extra hp, you won't see a gain in fuel eco. Also, this tune is not even on anyone's radar and honestly a waste of time. Refer back to the tune chart and good luck.

Stick to the 3 main players. JB4, V5 and COBB.

Mike, you really should give GForce a chance! There's a group buy right now happening at Bimmerfest w/Gravitino magnet option.

Doesn't get much better than that.

I'm doing 2 of them. 140 HP and 8-14 MPG improvement!

Question, do I hook them up in series, or use one for the 1-3 bank, and the other on the 4-6 bank?

You can get an adapter and daisy chain them for even more power and efficiency. Car companies were concerned about meeting CAFE regulations, then they learned they could just use GFarce.

Wow...this sounds great! Where do you plug in this chip - the dilithium crystal controller or the flux capacitor auxiliary socket?
