Exclamation 330i Burning Oil After engine replaced

Just wondering if anybody else has encountered this problem after having their engine replaced under warranty. Ive never had this problem w/ the old engine. Luckily they replaced the engine for me cus crankshaft was bad, but the new is burning oil? Im going to take her in pretty soon but just wondering if anybody had this same problem

Are you sure they REPLACED the engine?

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

If that much work was needed. They shouldve just gave you a new car or something if youre still under warranty.

When the engines are new they consume a little oil. Are you still within the breakin period?

Yeah my 328i has moved down a notch on the electronic dip stick in 5k but still within normal range, how much did it burn? Are you breaking it in or beating on it?
