Aftermarket suspension on a leased car
Guys,
I searched for this particular topic but could not find. For those of you with leased car, what have been your dealers reaction to seeing aftermarket suspension components on your car? I was simply going to do H&R Sport Springs and I dont think they would have a problem with that but this is my first experience with mods on a BMW warranty/leased car. Thanks |

It should not be an issue, if it's a full spring and shock replace. But I would not just do springs, they may have issue with that since it will cause premature wear on the shocks and struts. H&R with Koni yellows is a great combo. Or Kw V1's or the KW ST coils. Both good coils and not to expensive.

Hang on to the original springs/shocks. When you turn the car in you are going to need to re-install the factory parts.

Agreed with both replies. I installed coils + aftermarket 19's a few days after I leased mine in late 2009. Been to the dealer a couple times for service and nothing was mentioned.
