finished wrapping trims to high gloss black
it turned out nicer than expected. The material I used was 3M scotchprint high gloss black. I heard this thing was released new this year so I thought it had to be good material. And guess what, it was great and looking piano black exactly what I wanted.
took few snaps w/ iphone so quality isn't that great. feels like I am in new car there is only 2 pics after wrapped center console and door trim after wrapped whole front dash |

Nice. Probably, that would be my next mod. I have saddle brown dakota leather with burlwood trim and I dont like it at all. Looked into cf wrap but for me, it doesn't come close to real CF looks. Probably, this would be ideal. any thoughts/ suggestions???

when you get the carbon fiber wrap it's still the fabric... if you want to get the glaze look, you can wrap your trim and apply the resin over it and you're good... just expect some of your pieces of trim to fit MUCH more tightly... especially the start/stop button that you have to take off. |

I was debating between gloss black and dark grey. With your saddle, I would go with gloss black.

Already ordered on ebay. I'm getting 12"x 60". I think it comes to 5 sq yards. Do you think its would be sufficient? Also, do you think i will need the 3M primer or just sticking it would do it?

12" x 60" might not be enough, or it might be, I am not so sure about it. edit: make sure you provide heat gun or at least hair dryer. You need them. Last edited by Yvette; 12-28-2011 at 02:01 PM.. |
