Other than bmw coolant what do u use?

Zerex G-05 would be the only other thing I'd consider. But I just do that when I do a full drain and refill on BMWs. If it's already got BMW blue, I'd just make the trip to the dealer.

Then fill with distilled water and order BMW coolant online, do not mix in other coolants.

In latest issue of Bimmer it was said that BMW coolant is G48 and Benz was G-05 (In U.S.). Like others have said. Don't mix.

Not sure what to do? A few months, I was about to take a trip to my friends wedding, but when I got into the car, I got a low coolant warning. So, being in a pinch, I topped off the reservoir with Prestone 50/50 mix. I used this for my other cars and still had some in the garage. I have ad no trouble since, but should I be worried?
