AFE Pro 5R Intake system uses five layers of progressively finer mesh oiled cotton gauze media for improved engine protection. 16 gauge powder coated heat shield cools intake air to make it denser and more oxygen rich. Air filter service at recommended intervals lets an engine breathe properly while protecting it from costly damage. Air filters should be inspected and replaced as needed at least once a year, more often if the vehicle is driven in heavily polluted or dusty conditions.
