Oil Depletion
I have an 06 E90 with 70K miles on the dash. I filled up on oil in October and now its giving me the "add 1 more quart" signal. I believe that only about 2000 miles have been driven since October. This depletion is way to quick and I'm hoping someone can give me an answer to what the problem may be. Any help is appreciated.

Maybe the oil separator... But it might not be so abnormal. Id add the quart, verify it shows on the gauge, note the miles and then keep tabs on it. 2000 miles for one qt does seem a bit much, but I'd try to nail it down better before getting too concerned.

It was 2000 miles from max to min, meaning all 7 quarts. Well thats what the car is reading. I jacked it up today and found a leak so im hoping that its gonna be a cheap fix.

yea i just realized what i typed was wrong, I shouldve said that the oil warning light came on meaning that it was on the last quart of oil. Anyway i found out it was the oil filter gasket so this should be fun (sarcasm).
