I totally see that. It's the flare out on the bottom I think that is similar to the M5 bumper.

get a rep if you can. sometimes the original items can fit worse than reps... or sometimes they're made out of FG instead of PU

and I checked with Rapid Parts (one of the listed U.S. distributors) - they no longer import from Mattig.

Update - I was able to reach one of the Mattig sales reps via email, and she informed me that shipping costs to the US would run 200-300 Euros, or $256-$383 according to today's conversion rate. No thanks.
