For those with JBD
Hey guys, happy new years! As the title says, for those with JBD, what kind of mileage are you seeing? Me personally I see about 24 to 27 mpg after calculated fill up. That is with city and highway mix. Just wanted to know around what everybody else is seeing. thanks

I'd be curious of any improvement or worse with a jbd. I'm expecting worse because we all love torque

Your gas mileage should go up a little bit, for obvious reasons (unless you're more heavy footed than you were before). Because there is more power available to keep you where you are, you will cruise longer, and it will be easier to maintain your current level.
Here's my fuelly for the car (it's been tuned for some time now): http://www.fuelly.com/driver/ronin/335d

Whats you tire pressure? I go by whats the max printed on the tire. I think i'm around 42 psi. As far a fuel, CA Valero, Shell and Safeway. No Idea whats at Safeway, but it didn't hurt my mileage.

In my gasser, I think BP actually yielded better mpg's than Shell. I only fill up my D with Shell because the BP by me has giant nozzles. Maybe if you can find premium diesel, it might help performance.

I'm getting ~29mpg calculated average. Probably 50/50 city highway split.
I only run Chevron; last time I filled up with Shell it seems like it ran a bit rougher. And the shell was advertised as "premium diesel." I haven't tried BP yet. Cetane ratings are apparently all over the place in US diesel; and the only "authoritative" source for cetane ratings always goes back to some list a few years ago on tdiclub.

Wow, I am getting about 23mpg per tank with JBD installed at 80%.
I wonder if there is something going on.

Hey guys.. I'm a brand new 335d owner.. New to BMW etc.. I am enjoying the car so much. It's only been 2 weeks now. I had a 2010 Grand Cherokee Limited with the Hemi before and I got sick of the 11 or 12 mpg.. Sucks filling up every 3 or 4 days and it wasn't even fast unless I smashed the gas pedel to the floor. So I never bothered cause I didn't want to get worse mileage.. I just ordered the JBD chip so I can't wait. Is it really easy to install or am I gonna go crazy?
