How much are u paying to have your rear spoiler painted and installed

Just wanted to put out a feeler to see what folks are paying to get rear decks spoilers painted and installed for the 335i Coupe? Just ordered a Reiger spoiler from Modbargin and now I'm looking to have it painted and installed. So I wanted some other quotes on labor and installations before heading to a bodyshop. thanx

Thanx, got a $550 quote and told him he's lost his mine. I'm thinking $200-$300 range nothing more.

Holy crap, $275 to paint and install? Plus, the cost of the spoiler ($324 + shipping)? So, it cost over $600 for a rear deck spoiler...sorry, but my JLevi SW rear deck spoiler came already painted and I installed it myself with double sided 3M tape (which was already attached and ready to go). Total cost = $310.00 including shipping.

Yea, the more I think about it, the more I wish I would have purchased this one. Oh, well. Gotta deal with it now.

Yes the JleviSw spoiler is much less expensive. I really wished that I liked the way it looks. Its not bad, but form the pictures I have seen, its does not complement the lines of the car. Maybe it looks better in person?

I have not checked around lately but my OEM E46 spoiler on cost me $150 paint and install. That was couple of years ago so anything close to $200 and I will be happy.

From the pics I've seen of the Reiger spoiler, it seems my JLevi SW spoiler is nearly identical.

i think the JLevi spoiler looks too "chunky" around the sides...it doesn't flow right.

Just my .02

We are now painting the Rieger spoilers we sell for $150.00. Installs on these is pretty easy, shouldn't be more than $50-$100.

So, it's $324 + $150 to paint (= $574 + shipping) + $50-$100 for a professional install? All this for a painted rear lip spoiler that looks very similar to to the painted JLevi SW rear lip spoiler which costs ~ $310 shipped and comes with double-sided 3M tape???? Sorry, but that's imho.

btw -- Why can't the Reiger spoiler be attached with double-sided 3M tape?

Found someone to paint and install for $185 with a satisfaction guarantee, so I didn't get the JLevi price but I did the spoiler I wanted.

IMO i really think the jlevi spoiler is awkward looking..id go for the reiger because it matches the lines of the car so much better

I see what you're saying about the lines, but look at the Reiger and JLevi SW rear lip spoilers side-by-side...you'll see they're actually a lot closer than you think. Yes, the Reiger spoiler seems to continue the rear quarter panel line which swoops into the trunk, but if you were to see the JLevi SW spoiler in person, you wouldn't really notice that line isn't there.
