I read a while ago a fellow member wrapped his center console in "leatherette". Does anyone know where you can sheet of this or something similar? I think real leather might be too hard to work with, so something thinner might be easier to work with (kind of like the leather material the blackberry bold has on the back)

Check your local fabric store they usually have something similar to it.
