Just another tire noob question

Hey guys, I'm thinking of swapping out my RFT for non-runflats like a lot of people have done. I currently have the stock all-season tires on 17", so I'm thinking of getting ContiPro ExtremeContact DWS. My question is, do most people also get new rims for the tires to go onto? I figure there's no point keeping around 2 sets of wheels, one with all-seasons and the other with... worse all-seasons. Plus a full set of wheels is expensive. However, I've seen people selling off stock wheels with run-flats on them, so if I do a straight swap and keep my wheels, will I not be able to resell just the stock tires by themselves? Thanks for any help.

If you're getting the same tiresize, then you don't need know wheels, and just try to sell the RTF tires.

You do not need to buy a second set of wheels just for tires, some people just like to be able to swap them on without much issue. Those tires will do you well, we sell them very frequently here.
