Hey guys, i was testing out the GoPro today and was trying to find some cool spots to put it, and i put together a little video.

Muffler delete + resonator delete..might be doing secondaries soon

Sounds awesome, thinking of doing a delete myself with some quads. I already have the quads and diffuser just trying to find a muffler shop to hook it up.

I was amazed of how nice it sounded...i was skeptical at first because i thought it'd sound like a honda (fart can) lol.

Also, i never really heard it from outside the car until i let my dad drive it today and wow...sounds really beefy and LOUD!

Now I'm not sure if I want to do the secondary cat delete or not..what do you guys think?

That sounds really really really good!, What tips did you use as some have mentioned that affects sound. Hows the drone? Do you think its to loud for your daily driving. Im so on the fence about the MD

Hey benzo, I have the Cyba tips. Their great!

The drone is only when cruising on highway in automatic mode @ like 2k Ron's.. If I'm in manual at 2500-3k cruising at around 70-80 It's no drone at all..

Automatic mode at 70-80 kills though haha. I did the MD first and had it for a month or 2 then went back for the resonator!

Oh and as for being to loud, I don't think so. But at 4-7k Rpm it screams haha. I like loud.

When I was taking the video I let my dad drive the car and I was amazed at how much louder it was outside than inside the car.

I'm thinking about doing the secondary cat delete though now

Thanks for the info, its the drone that im worried about, I do a lot of highway driving. And I dont want to be in DS at 3k all the time on the highway.

Wow that actually sounds really good. I recently installed a REMUS sport exhaust and I wanted to get a resonator delete with it but the installer wanted to charge me $250 extra which seems really high to me?

I like the sound of mine now but i want it a little louder and a little more gargle, I'll have to shop around on the delete.

That price does seem pretty high...The muffler shop i go to did mine for $60 i think. It's worth it, right after i did the launch i made it "gargle", not sure if ya caught that or not

Yeah you might get anoyyed quickly then.. I don't do too much highway driving. But then again I'm always in Manual mode :P

Do you guys want a video of me accelerating off? That way you can kind of see how Loud/ far away you can hear it?

I would do a cat delete but definitely put the resonator back after. It will be raspy without the resonator.

Are you sure it'll be rAspy? Just wondering because it hasn't been raspy yet with md and resonator delete

God damnit I want my car to sound like that but with no drone lol but then again i just put as much into my new titleist driver and scotty putter as a complete PE system would be so i guess exhaust isnt high on my list lol

lol. I would say you have half of the city's quota for "pop" with your set up. I don't know how that would come about. Would increasing/decreasing pipe diameter do anything for ya?

hahaha it was louder than i thought it was when i heard my car from the outside for the first time...thats for sure!

As for increasing/decresing the diameter, I'm not sure...I'm not trying to loose performance or anything so im scared to mess with the sizes of the pipe...

I think if i took out the secondaries it might add a couple hp but then like the other dude was saying, I'm worried about it sounding raspy haha.. I thought it was going to sound raspy after the res. delete though and it didnt>.>

lol STILL undecided on rather to take the secondary cats off yet, huh? I say do it...

And i haven't set my car on a dyno yet, but i increased the diameter of my exhaust pipe by .25" after the cats, and instead of placing a Y-pipe in to replace the resonator, i converted the whole thing into full dual pipe setup header back. I know my car sounded a lot more 'throatier' afterwards but it's not your average setup for an N52. I also may add that my exhaust isn't the best looking thing in the world right now. The craftsmanship paid for was cheap, thus the work was done very quickly with less quality. Once i get a few things taken care of i'll get the whole thing redone from the header back and see if there's true performance to be had.

My car will be completely catless soon... can't wait... i think it may be TOO loud at that point and i may get a nice sounding muffler set to give it more of a musclely sound... we'll see though.
