WHAT?! This is news to me, although since it was 28° at some point last night I figured it was coming. I hope my trek to work in DT isn't affected!

I was whipping it through snow with my bald azenis's last year, made it up a big ass hill. Just turn DSC completely off, build momentum, and never ever slam on your brakes.

Blizzaaks on the M3 and X drive on the 335 But if it gets serious, I'll just resort to the Duramax. Be glad to pull anyone out. I always carry a 25' tow strap. Just make sure you have your tow hook handy. I don't think you want anyone hooking up to our front lips...

That guy is an idiot. Are you really going to just sit on the brakes and just watch as your car slides down the hill?? It was almost as if he just wanted to hit other peoples cars.

Quattro EASILY should have gotten him through that. I have no idea what he was thinking.

I've got my PA3's on since end of November! =) Hopefully my front lip won't take a beating hahaha. Maybe I'll just leave it in the garage and carpool with my frd's CR-V. Careful driving everyone! That Audi....*sigh*.

I just flew out to la this morning. I tried to get my snows on yesterday but the dealer didn't have them in stock My winter weather rig is a Cherokee but it happens to be down till Monday night at the earliest cause it's getting regeared. Hopefully we get out of the parking and back to the house without much issue. I'm still on summers with 3-4/32 on them. We'll see how it plays out Monday night. Maybe I'll have to use the BMW assist for the first time haha

Yeah it could of, but not his tires.

Tires >* anything in snow. If you don't have the proper tires, no 4WD/AWD will help at all.

I agree whole heartedly. Even with pro active awd if ur in slippery conditions With high performance dry tires u aren't going to accomplish sh*t. When it comes to traction the most significant factor will always be the part of the car that actually touches the ground, tires.

Right, 4WD helps you start, but snow tires help you STOP!

I have a set of 970A/S on my 4S and a set of Conti DWS on my S4.

I just can't resist not to post this:

Went to Crystal on Sunday - Blizzaks did a great job with handling my e92 there and back again . Was a great day, btw, rode powder all day long!
