E90 Halogen to xenon (HID) Conversion Please help me code, eliminate error codes
Hi, I am new to E90 forum and I have looked around for a LONG time trying to find an answer to this problem I have been having and finally decided to set up an account and just directly ask you guys for help. I have a 2006 325Xi and it came stock with halogen headlights and fogs. I converted the headlights to HID's with a philips kit that has built in canbus and also added a relay. I upgraded the fogs with a philips kit and added problem eliminators to get them to at least stay on but I can NOT get the error codes to go away. I have tried every combo of eliminators, resisters, relays I just got the car back from BMW dealer and they said they can not shut the codes off. The lights work perfect and I have no problems but the error codes. Please help! I have tied every method I have read on this forum and still no luck, is it possible that my car will always have error codes? I dont know if I am posting in the right area, if I am not please let me know. Thanks!

WE had to try about 6 different canbus HID ballast before they worked error free. By no accident it was the most expensive one. If you would like more information you can send me a PM or an email.

You have to code the errors out, i noticed you are in Michigan. I used to live there. I got a good buddy who can code BMWs he has an M3 himself. He lives in Detroit though idk if your willing to drive.

Update on this thread?
After viewing the coding myself, there is no way to change the setting for "low beam warning (cold reading)" or "low beam warning (warm reading)" I too have a kit that works, but annoying ass code. Still in the stock Halogen reflector's at the moment, but if I can get this resolved, I'll be getting my depo projectors. |

Didnt see it mentioned, but I hope you also changed out the headlight assembly to projectors. HID's in halogen housings are no go.
