Aux heater problem

Hello

I have a 320d 2010 mod, whit a aux heater that doesn`t work as it shuld.
When i acitvate it, from the remote or the i-drive, the fan starts and stops again, goes for less then a second.

Any ideas? I read somewhere here that if i miss starts 3 times then it goes in "lock mode", and I need to reset it?
Where can i find the fuse? Can`t find out what number it is from the fuse diagram in the car..

Thanks
