BMW Performance Rear Spoiler for 330i

Hi all,

I have ordered myself a BMW Performance Genuine Rear Spoiler (not carbon fibre but in Sparkling Graphite for my E90 330i. I wish to get recommendations on how best to attach this spoiler to the car, ie either 3M double side tap (red back) or glue or etc.

I have read that the 3M tap has not always worked for spoiler of this size.

3m tape should be fine. i know a few people who haven't had a problem with it.

i'd just be worried about people stealing the oem one. if it was a rep, i'd say tape it. oem, i'd glue down. they're too easy to steal.

I used the Betalink adhesive that came in the BMW spoiler install kit... Looking back, I would've done 3M tape.

Is that the reality of it? Someone would walk up to your car and rip it off? Wow- I stole shit when I was younger, but never thought of ripping off a spoiler! Good info...

Hi Guys

Thanks for the feedback, I spoke to my uncle over the weekend and he said he knows someone with a garage that does car body repairs, so I will take it to his mate's garage and have the spoiler installed for free.

Will let you know what they use.
