Carbon8 CF hood/water in engine bay

Just got the Carbon8 CF Hood for my e90. Has anyone had a problem with water getting into the engine bay through the vents and messing anything up? I'm thinking of sealing them off somehow. Has anyone done this?

I would consider a metal plate to direct the water down towards the front bumper if you're really concerned about it. Just a simple, thin piece of metal with a few bends that tapers down into a little gutter shape.

Thats a really good idea too. This way you would still have the vents look as though they are open and no water. Just have to make sure the gutter you create is permanently attached and won't come loose in any way. Wouldn't want metal getting into your fans and belts. In addition you might be able to create some type of fiberglass pan that you can glass to the hood.
