What are you supposed to use to properly apply a decal/viynl?

What type of liquid are you supposed use? Is it just water or some special agent. You know what im talking about right, like to sray a water like substance on before you apply a decal in order to be able to perfectly align it up right

Are you applying black vinyl for that M6 mirror styling as well?

You can use pure water or water diluted with soap. The whole purpose of the liquid is that the vinyl is not sticky enough to the point that you can not readjust it. You spray the area with the liquid, put the vinyl on, align it if needed, then use a sponge or a credit card to slowly squeeze out the liquid from under the vinyl while applying force down on the surface.
