Recommendation to fix scratches on wheels in Sydney ?

Could someone recommend a place to fix wheel scratches in Sydney ?

Two of them have touched a bit the curb so I\'d like to get them repaired.

Thanks
Thierry

I used to go to Jax bondi junction but now I prefer Trivett tyres in alexandria. Let me know when you're free one day and we can go down to Trivett together. If they see my face they should be able to do you a better price lol!

I had good experience with Wheel Centre Repairs at Botany

http://www.wheelrepairs.com.au/

They don't just patch up like those mobile repairers, they'll remove your wheels for a complete strip and repaint.

For a touch up, $70-$100...

If its just a bit of curb rash then theres no need to strip the whole wheel and paint it again.

A good touchup guy will sand the curb rash down, fill it with putty, sand the putty down, spray it silver then blend it in with clear coat, its virtually imperceptible due to the nature of the wheel and the light hitting it at different angles you'd be hard pressed to know the wheel has been touched up.

from memory it was about $150 per wheel..not cheap and require to leave your car for a few days unless you have a spare.

touch-up guys are okay if you are not planning to keep the car for long, cos they are more prone to damage again when changing tires.
