LOBA Motorsports upgraded turbos vs. RB Turbos ?

Hi,

I was looking at some upgraded turbo options lately.

Does anyone know more about this upgraded turbo option ?

http://www.loba-motorsport.de/en/pro...-turbochargers

I wonder how do these compare to RB Turbos ? I don't really know what "state-of-the-art “Extended Tip” billet compressor wheels – unique in design, geometry and size" means...do RB Turbos feature the same design ?

Loba is a very reputable company when it comes to turbos upgrade. Those are basically a stage 1 turbo upgrade with billet compressor wheel and clipped stock turbine = inferior to RBs or TD stage 2.

RB's are better. Those have clipped turbine wheels, which I believe the RB's do not. And that's a plus for the RB's. I'm not a turbo expert, but I'd order some Rob Beck turbos instead...

+1

And they're more expensive than the RB turbos (3800 EUR), the RBs (without shipping charges, credit card charges and core charge) are priced at around 2300 EUR.

Also, I can't see any mention of an improved wastegate assembly, which IMO is one of the major points in which the RB turbos excel.
