Rattling sound at 1500rpm on 320d

Hello,

I have been experiencing this problem for about two months, when I press the accelerator hard and let it go after the rpm is around 1500 I can hear disturbing rattling sound, those sounds are also present when I reverse and dip the clutch at around 1500...

I want to the dealer and he wasn\'t sure what causes it, he said in this opinion it\'s the turbo bearing being worn out and when it spools down it makes this sound...

I have personally suspect it might be the DM fly wheel,

The car has done almost 250.000km and never had a clutch nor the turbo replaced...

Additionally I have noticed that when I rev up to 4500 there are clouds of smoke coming out and the oil need to be topped up every 10.000km... I Just had the breather changed @ 160k...

Is there any way I can diagnose the problem with INPA? I looked in to the computer and there was only one error about cyl3 glow plugs...

Thanks

Strange I have a rattling sound when I push the accelator around 1200RPM...
Except I'm driving a 320i...

I have it only at this paticular RPM and when there is enough counter torque (starting on a slope). If I accelerate slowly I don't have it and it's immediatly gone. It's also better when the engine is warm.

In your case I don't think it's the turbo. Do you experience a change in performance? In my case other than the noise at low RPM, the engine performs as usual.

I've seen lots of black smoke coming out of the tail pipe of many diesel engines.
Keep in mind that a diesel engine always consumes a little bit of oil. After more than 250000km this is pretty normal.
