335i rear shock mounts
Going to replace my rear shocks with the BMW performance version. While I'm in there should I replace the upper mounts? I know this was a weak spot on the e36 resulting in glunking noises going over bumps. What other OEM mounts would be an upgrade? Would the M3 mounts be better, would they fit and any ride differences?
Thanks Looking at the realoem page it doesn't look like there are any mounts! Is this right?

Only other mounts I know of that'll work are Dinan. I don't think M3 upper mounts will fit. I know the M3 lower mounts are completely different. If you're not going going to install lowering springs, Dinan mounts aren't recommended. Search rear shock mounts in this forum; there's 1 or 2 good threads..

Inspect your (rear) lower rubber shock mounts attached to the lower struts. Both sides of mine were worn out - but that was probably a function of mileage as I had over a 100K when I changed out shocks.
