Question: Downpipe without tune?

I'm wondering if having a downpipe without a tune would be okay? I found a great deal for a 4" Berk Downpipe but at the moment I don't have enough to also get the tune. Would it be okay if I put in the downpipe without a tune or will it create problems with the car? Please let me know.

Thank you

Only problem you will have is codes thrown and a check engine light. Other than that you should be fine.

If you're planning to get the tune in the future, then you're fine.
Some time without it won't kill you.

Would I get problems from the dealer if I bring it into service with the dp in?

its not gonna hurt anything by just running a dp. Everyone says tune before dp because you can run more aggressive maps with a DP. Your more likely to get problems from a tune then a dp IMO.

just clear your codes before you go in with a CAN tool

I love my BMS downpipe. Have it with the JB4 tune. Put them on at the same time.

The stock exhaust sounds amazing with the downpipe.

Best of luck!
