Tire shop screwed up my wheels

so i took my car to a local firestone by me...ordered the tires from tire rack and had them drop shipped to them to the firestone...they put the tires on...and i drove home...it was only about a week or so later that i noticed the condition of the wheels...three of wheels were severely damaged...they either damaged the wheels in taking off the run flats or they are were so blatant as to literally switch the wheels...i would post pics but i am not that smart (can some one post them for me?)...i took the wheels to the manager today and of course he denied any wrong doing...i called the insurance company to put a claim in just to document the incident but if this ends up going that route, i am out of the deductible...so what do I do??

I have type 162 wheels...i am considering new wheels from BMW at $400 a pop, replica wheels (http://www.wheelandtireguy.com/produ...t.aspx)...does anyone have good experience buying replica wheels?? ....or having my wheels repaired...

any thoughts???

You did not notice this when you put your wheels on?

Who doesnt inspect every angle when buying new wheels and just getting them put on?

With that said, you might be screwed, if you reported the damage right away maybe they could do sometihng. Coming back a week later saying your wheels are damaged is not going to fly - they will argue and say you curbed them yourself and want them to pay for the damage. Good luck, but I doubt they will repair them.

I'm selling 162's for $700... A like new set since they were taken off right away. In the boxes ready to ship, and for pics you'll have to see the So-Cal marketplace thread.

you could try going back to Firestone get the store location number and magers name to file a complaint with the corp office, aside from that if they are a official installation store for tirerack then you can do a proper complaint to them about the store, aside from that you post your expirience on their comment box and hope the manager decides to help you out. consider that they do have video of the instalation bays and mounting area.
good luck.

^I agree, I would without a doubt go back to where the tires were mounted and make a complaint. If you end up needing new wheels I have the 8X18 ET34 available HERE and the 8.5X18 ET37 available HERE.
