Hidden Menu Help
Hi guys,
This is my first post so hopefully I've put this in the right section and apologies if I'm asking a silly question, but... I have recently purchased a 320d M Sport (which I am absolutely loving!), and have been trying to check the coolant temperature via the 'hidden menu' to see if all is well and things like the thermostat isn't on the way out etc! I am having an issue actually unlocking the menu. I manage to get to the code entry section and enter my code successfully, however once I have done this nothing happens. I have tried re-scrolling through the menu hoping that after I have entered the code all would be unlocked, but this is not the case. If anyone could assist me or point out my stupidity by something that I am doing incorrectly, I would be very grateful. Thanks. |

If you entered the correct number it should unlock the hidden menus, select 7 and wait for a few seconds. By the sounds of it you have entered the wrong nunber!

I mis-read the guide and was calculating the total of the last 6 digits of the chassis number for the code, not the last 5 as needed! Very sorry to sound like such a rookie! Thanks for all the help! I look forward to posting more sensible topics in the future Thanks |

No worries. Once you see the possible low temps i am sure you'll ask away!!!!
Just changing both stats myself this weekend due to temp not reaching 72 on a long run. |

Do you have a link to the guide that allows you to do this?

I was getting low 40's after my remap driving economically but thats with low coolant temp figures. Hopefully I should see mid 40's after the stats are changed. |

Mine is relatively similar, I'm getting near 45mpg on average if driven lightly, which I suppose is about right for the distances/type of journeys that I am currently doing
