OEM Vinyl bra - does anyone have one?
To minimize the bashing:
1. I searched the forum and found very little on the vinyl bra, other than it exists, which I know, and some opinions from people who don't have one. 2. I had a vinyl OEM bra on a previous car (Passat) so I am familiar with them, and no it did not scrach my paint - which was dark blue and would have shown quite easily. So, my question is for anyone who has the bra... anyone?? If you do, what is your opinion of it in terms of function and fit? We all know it looks retarded, so I don't need to know about that. I'm considering it for use during long road trips to minimize damage and make cleaning easier. I also figured if I got some extra velcro squares (I'm assuming it uses those inside the fender to attach) I could use it on either the E90 or the E91 as I wished. After all, who cares how stupid your car looks on the interstate far away from home? The clear bra is just too expensive to have installed and I can't justify it (nor do I know anyone who does them around here). Thanks!

Wow, the crickets are really chirping in this thread! No takers, eh?
I'm still thinking about getting one just for long road trips...

Zep. I had it for me e46 for exactly that reason. Okay and for the track. It actually worked great! Never flapped around stuck on tight etc and it didn't scratch the car up. I really liked it. But seeing as I decided to go clear bra on this one I won't be getting the vinyl one. My guess is it would scratch the clear bra to hell. That thing is sooo soft.
