2007 335 E92 Coupe For Sale
I'm selling my May 2007 build 335 E92 Steptronic coupe.
It just went up on Carsales for $66,000 (price is negotiable) here:http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...spx?R=12076286 The lucky bastard who buys this car, will be bouncing off walls for days. Basically, it has been a "Garage Queen" since new and only taken out on weekends. With only 12,002 km on the clock, it still has the factory leather smell when you slip inside the car. The car is immaculate (no dings or scratches). Interior is spotless and like new..(check out the pictures). It has never been in an accident (I would cry if it ever happen). Still have the original runflat tyres on the 19" 230 rims. All in like new condition. This model came with the first round initial iDrive upgrade and includes the 8 Favourites buttons. The car is basically still being run-in. Full Factory log book servicing at BMW Sydney Rushcutters Bay, since new. Options include: - Sunroof - HiFi Prologic 7 sound system - iPod integration cable and pouch in armrest for viewing on iDrive screen. - Business Bluetooth integration with cradle and Nokia phone in armrest. The car is also upgraded with: - Aero front lip - 3D Design Carbon Fibre "BMW Performance" rear bootlid lip - M Sport rear bumper bar - Quaife Auto Torque Biasing Limited Slip Differential - BMW Performance Gear Shift knob with alcantara boot and Handbrake lever grip. - M Sport Leather Steering wheel with paddles. - M Sport Aluminium pedals. - Integrated Air vent LED Boost Gauge. - Lux V.3 Angel Eye, Bright white LED lights. - TV Unlock whilst driving, etc.....

That looks immaculate - goodluck with the sale!
If you can't get a decent price that reflects the great condition it might be better to part out the diff i.e. try do a pumpkin swap with another member. |

I have kept all the parts that were replaced, so swapping them all back in is not a problem. It seems many potential buyers don't realise what all this gear costs. My main priority has always been , that if I will add anything to the car, it had to be subtle and maintain BMW's original design integrity. Sourcing these parts took a lot of research. I bought the Quaife LSD directly from Birds UK and had it fitted by ALS at Rydalmere...total cost $2200. That 3D Design rear lip spoiler is pure Carbon Fibre. It was imported directly from Japan and cost close to $900. The Aero front lip, Rear bumper bar, M Sport steering wheel, Performance Shifter and Handbrake are all factory OEM parts worth close to $4000 fitted. On Carsales there are quite a few 335's selling with a heap more km's and pretty much your generic factory standard package asking for more dime. I want a quick sale at very reasonable sale price. I only hope that whoever buys it, looks after it, the way I did. Many years ago, I built a Schwarz Black painted Ford TE Cortina from scratch with a 302 Windsor V8. Fully engineer approved and street legal...a real Street Machine. I spent close to $25,000 on it and then sold it for $11,000. The disrespectfull prick who bought it proceeded to do a burnout all the way up the road, just to rub salt into my wounds. I enjoyed every minute and dollar I spent on the BMW. It doesn't deserve anything less but as you say bmroxm5, and it shames me to say this, but if people don't want a top notch product but rather a stripped down factory basic....that's exactly what I'll give them. I'm sure I'll be back. Guy from Melbourne is sending a friend around to have a look at it and see if it checks out.....I'm not at all concerned. Thanks woosh. I upgraded to this rear bar due to the more aggressive look and style. You also have a great choice of inserts that are available. I have in my possession a never fitted BMW Performance finned insert for a M Sport rear bar. That reminds me.....I have a tonne of amazing "Brand New" products I'll be selling shortly on these forums.

CAR IS SOLD!!!
Thanks for your support on these Forums guys!!! This is a real community with real enthusiasts. I think we need to believe in what sale prices we sell our cars for and maybe protect our brand. There are too many guys out there that would have you believe that cars like a Nissan 370Z is a better value car than this. It is a buyers market and prices others sell their cars for, dictate and benchmark the real value of our cars. I still think I priced the car very sharply to attract a quick sale but some disrespecting pricks think they can take advantage of the situation. Had a lot of low ball offers but I stood firm. One guy kept saying that the Red Book value for these cars was $51,600 but was willing to "Over spend" and pay the extra $8,400 and make it a clean $60,000 because of the low km. I basically told him no way, but this persistant guy is adamant that I had over priced the car and that I would never sell it. I basically told him to Fu....k OFF politely and stop wasting my time. I told him that the problem with second hand luxury cars is that it attracts every man and his dog who could not afford them new and then try to low ball you on a price. As I said to him, even if I ripped out every single upgrade I put on this car, I would still not sell it to him, even if he had offered me $63,000. He hung up on me. Of interest, one guy from South Australia organised Trivett Classic of Alexandria to go over the car. When I get there, the showroom sells only Bentleys, Aston Martins. I was daunted at first but I thought it might help to know what they think of my car. The valuer named Ian was really impressed with it and then moved away to ring his client. He tried an offer of $63,000 but I said he will need to try better. We left it at that but before I left, I asked him what he had rated the car. Without hesitating he said it was a perfect 10. He said the scoring was based on the condition of a brand new BMW 335 of the same year and allowing the fact that it is now 2012. I wanted to know if he could give me a certificate to prove this on Carsales but he said I would have to pay the inspection fee his client had paid. Thanks but no thanks. Things started to straighten up and I had some serious offers from others put on the table....$64,000 sight unseen from a guy in Victoria and then others etc.etc.. Over the past week I had only one guy come out. He went over the car, could not believe his luck and then offered me the right price straight away (I'll not disclose price since he asked me not to). Should have priced it maybe $2,000 more than what I advertised it for. I knew that this car would have that effect on who ever would come out to see it. I'm an idiot for selling it but the decision has been made. I could not stand leaving it in the Garage all week and only take it out on sunny weekends. This car needs to be driven more often by someone who appreciates it fully. It will wrench my gut to see it driving off up the road this coming weekend but at least it's still in Sydney. I will hopefully catch a glimpse of it around town once in a while.....there's hoping.

Congrats on the sale mate! It is truly an immaculate car and I too would have considered it seriously given the mods, but alas i can only afford one. Only true enthusiasts who knows the potential under the hood will fully appreciate what a great deal he got. Here's hoping the buyer is just that and maybe we'll see them on the forums soon too...maybe you can plug the forums

Congrats on the sale! If priced well it should sell quickly, as evident here. I wonder though, if you had a MT would it have taken the same amount of time to move?
Don't forget this!!! |
