Need help ASAP down pipe install
Please pm me. I can\'t get the v band clamps back on. If someone could please call pm ur number
*update* Got them on about 15 minutes after posting this status (45 minutes trying) We had to put the Vband on the back turbo, have myself hold it open while the other person was seating the DP's into the turbo, Then somehow clip the band over the DP's and hope everything stuck.. IDK PITA, But we got it. Last edited by E90SoFlo; 02-08-2012 at 08:26 AM.. |

You have to make sure the DP is seated flush on the turbo. Once seated- attach clamp from turbo side (really need a second person to shine flashlight up there). I know sounds easier said then done. It took me a full day to install!

Go in with your legs in first instead of head first and get underneath there to get a better angle with your hands if u are doing it on ramps...Basically you can hold up the dp with your left hand and use your right hand at a better position to open the clamp and slide the dp flange into it...

I found the rear turbo to be worse strictly due to the lack of visibility. After doing it a few times, I can do it in prolly 1.5hr now. First time is always a bitch.

PLUS the hour it took for the one Vband clamp. and the 35 minutes for the back 02 Sensor. lol Total of 2.25 hours |
