Looking for a place other than the dealer to perform valve cleaning, the good ole fashion manual way, not chemically like seafoam etc.
Thanks! |

I think this is a "hot" service, for someone in the bay area, who can perform a good clean job and charge a reasonable prices. I'm totally down for any additional info on this topic.
Looking and reading at Eracer76 post, he's got a great technique (sand blaster with crushed walnut shells) and tools to do it right. Using cleaning chemicals can be time consuming and more laborious in comparison. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=645616

Was thinking about this on the way home from work today, definitely agree that it is a much wanted service here in the bay for a reasonable price.

My dealer did it, they have a walnut shell blaster. They charged $650 and turned my car back to me with a f'ed up engine
