If someone would like any info/advice on retrofitting these to a non-paddle car, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that, you can either ask Yakev or I can include a hard copy of the install instructions for the E90 LCI 09-up...

Anyone ever install these to a non paddle steering? Possible to drill through the wheel to screw them on?

No; you really need to swap out your entire steering/airbag setup to sport.

Just post your airbag/wheel FS on eBay and pick up a sport wheel/airbag when someone bites.

would these work on any paddle shift wheel? Specifically a 2007 paddle shift wheel?

Physically - yes
Electronically - they'll most likely need to be opened and modified; procedure isn't complicated and has been documented in the DIY section

Do the - and + light up on these? Will they be plug n play if I already have the old style pre-LCI paddle shifters?

They don't light up. They should be plug and play, the only thing you may need to do is to swap a pin in the paddle plug, it has two wires and the plug three positions.
