OEM dual mass flywheel resurfacing?

I took my car to a local shop "Lutz Performance" and they told me that a dual mass flywheel cannot be resurfaced. But I have seen many threads where people have resurfaced theirs... Is it possible and how much does this cost?

it is possible to have done but you need to know the thickness that your is so you can tell whether resurfacing it will bring it below the thickness that is recommended.
