Looking for new spring wheels

Hey everyone,

Interested in some new wheels for the spring time. Will be putting them on a 2011 e92 335xi. Have the stock on now and will be keeping those as winter setup. Want to get a full set of prob '19s and would like gunmetal or black if possible. Just wanted to post on here for local pickup. Let me know if anyone has anything!

thanks

Wouldn't suggest you to go in for 19's on Boston road. I'm on stock 18's at the moment, and those already give me enough of a harsh ride, especially with the sports suspension. Just my two cents.

I have 19s and lowered on KW V1...I have had no issues with 1-2 years of driving all over Boston. This should not be considered a deterrent in getting 19s. As long as you have proper suspension then it will be ok imo.

To OP, I may consider selling my 19s but they have imperfections. Are you looking for a no imperfections set and what is your price range and type of wheels you are looking for?

Well, I have the sports package with sports suspension on my car right now. I really want to go in for a set of 19's , but with all the potholes and road conditions around here, I'm thinking twice since I don't want flats or bent wheels. I have runflats on stock 18s and have had to replace a whole set of tires already due to bloody potholes!!

Yeah I feel ya...pretty much I am more cautious these days but with a good set of suspensions and you're not speedin' into pot holes...it shouldn't be that bad unless you have really cheap rims.

Sorry for the delayed response... I had 19s on my old E46 and had really no problems for 3 years. The harsh ride my be due to the run flats that you have on stock, KrazyKing. The run flat ride seems to be much harsher. I am open to many style wheels - like VMRs a lot. Budget probably around 1k but very flexible if I like something.

So you guys think I could get a set of 19s and run say DWS tires I could survive? Man potholes jump outta anywhere up your ass.

I've been lookin around e90 for setups, and most of them are 19s, makes me seriously consider them..

hey guys... still looking for some new wheels and extending my search beyond black. Like multi spoke wheels - looking for 19s. Just to give you an idea i like VMRs specifically VB3s.

thanks

JLWB3,

I am looking to take the same path as you.

Right now I am leaning towards getting 19" wheels from originalwheels.com and going with the Conti DW tires.
