help with tires

hi everyone i need some help with buying some wider tires for my car.
i have the oem 162 style rims 18's.
what brand and size (265-275) do you guys recomend.

someone told me i should go with 265's cuz i have an auto and because the gearing or something like that


any help would be great.

You can't just put on wider tires. Your speedo will be wrong if you upgrade to a larger size without the diameter of the wheel also increasing.

the rears already have 255's, so why would you go spend extra money for 10mm's wider???

at this point, just keep it stock sizes, you will not gain a anything by going from 255 to 265.... you probably will bearly notice a difference....

I see no problem going to 265s, but there is nothing skinny about 255 either.

this is the thing....my b-days in a few days and my mother in law is not good at buying gifts so she just gave me $1000 bucks cash

If that's the case there are PLENTY of better things to do with that cash than simply changing the tires(assuming they are still usable)

well i already have a turbo tuner, cat back exhaust, itg air filter, and im on the gb for the intake.
