anyone want to split an M-tech retrofit kit

Just taking a shot in the dark to see if I get lucky. Had a little fender bender and i need a new bumper. I figured I would take this chance to get a Mtech bumper... turns out BMW factory ONLY sells mtech bumpers in full retrofit kits (front, rear, sideskirts).. apparently if you have the mtech kit and you get damage to one of your bumpers and need it replaced you gotta buy the whole kit again to replace it.

turns out the 2008 E90 models didnt come from factory with the mtech kit as an option, its something you can buy later on.

So i guess my question is.. anyone in the seattle or eastside need just the rear or the side skirts? we can split the cost of the kit and I will have my front bumper and you can have your skirt or rear bumper please????

i would prefer not having to go with 3rd party replicas.

please let me know if you are interested in the next day or 2...
if not im just going to get the car fixed next week with stock parts.

Why not message a Tischer rep on here (You should be able to order just the front)

I got lucky and got a LCI M-Sport on EBay UK for less than a rep and OEM price here

That is just a suggestion

hahaha sorry it took me awhile to understand why i cant just get the front.

in order for me to retrofit a regular non m front bumper to a m tech front bumper, i need the bumper itself, the lower grils, fog light housing, fog light brackets, front wheel arch liner, and all the clips and screws.

apparently the pre LCI E90 was not sold with the M package option. only the E92 were. So that is why BMW only sells full retrofit kits, because they assume people who want it will need all 4 sides.

i will contact tischer and give it a try. thanks

hit up Long Tran at LTBMW, that's where I got my OEM mtech front bumper and necessary parts for the install for my e90. Or you can get it at Tischer as well...good luck!

You could do search for Evan@tischer and look for his screen name and send him a pm. Or you can email jreighard@mileone.com. He works at Tischer and he's the one who helped coodinate my purchase of the performance exhaust. He is also the one who responds to the "Help" service on the getbmwparts.com (Tischer) website.
