Trakk Tape is currently used for protection from road chips and bugs during track events. But has anybody used it when shipping cars on an open transport to protect it from stones, bugs, etc?

If its good enough for bugs when tracking, it's probably good enough for a car being transported. But question--why not use blue or green painters tape instead. No residue, won't damage your cars paint (it doesn't damage wall paint, which is way less durable than car paint) and I bet that trakk charges a premium for their product. Just my 2 cents.

Alternatively, just buy a car cover and sell it when you're done. Net cost should be low and well worth the protection.
