Changing to quad tips on Vanguard
I'm wanting to order the quad titanium tips from cyba. I know an exhaust shop can probably get this done no problem but I'm just wondering if anyone has done this? Anyone know what the diameter of Vanguard behind the tips and of the cyba tips is?

I'm sorry, you were asking diameter of pipe that bolt tips onto. I am pretty sure it's 2.5"
I mean whether is 2.5 or 3, exhaust shops should be able to make it work fairly easy imo. |

I recall measuring with a digital caliper from the outside when I had my Vanguard and it seemed like the outlet was close to 2.75" - maybe from the inside that will be 2.5".... seemed pretty large though, but I never ended up putting quads on.

Cyba is the only vendor I can find on here that sells tips. Didn't think about asking a vendor that sells Vanguard if they have quads. But I want the titanium so.......
Yeah, I figured it won't be too difficult. I was just worried about the Vanguard being too big compared to the cyba tips. That's not much room to work with if it's a big difference. But I have watched SO many exhaust shops do my exhausts over the years. But I don't think I ever changed tips on aftermarket exhaust. Dr. G...you got rid of your vanguard!!!?? Too loud or what? How difficult was it to change to quad tips on the BMW exhaust? |

Hey, guys, sorry to bring this up from the dead, but wonder if anybody has a complete result? Will quads line up with with the diffuser? Thank you. Thinking of burnt titanium quads with DD diffuser or similar.
