Odd sound

Hey guys...I just had this thumping noise start on the right front wheel. Gets louder as I go faster. Almost like a flat tire but obviously its not a flat...suggestions?

Might be an object in the tire, (rock, nail, etc)

feels awfully large to be a rock or a nail...I sure hope not. It's going into the dealer tomorrow

Turned out to be a screw! Luckily I have my BRAND NEW DWS on there...that can be plugged. Not sure how I feel about that though....still safe?

It depends on where the screw is in the tread. If the screw is within a inch of the shoulder of the tread then a tire place will probably not repair it. If it is farther in on the tread (closer to the center of the tire) then it can be repaired. The proper repair is to remove the tire from the wheel, plug the hole and patch the hole from the inside. The tire will last its full lifetime if it is repaired in this fashion. It should cost more that $30 to have the repair made.

Just FYI, run-flats can be repaired just like non run-flat tires can.

Good luck.
